Connecting
You need API access from Meest — a login, password and contract number. Meest sends them in an “API access” email.
- Settings → Integrations → Meest Express.
- Enter the login, password and Contract ID (contractID) and click “Check and save access”. The dashboard first tries to sign in — a wrong password won't be saved.
- Enter the sender (full name or business name), phone and the city and branch where you drop off parcels. Save.
The card shows “Meest connected”.
Meest in the cart
Turn on Meest Express among the store's carriers: Settings → Store and delivery → Shipping.
When Meest is connected, the buyer picks a Meest city and branch from a list, and the waybill is later created without choosing by hand. Without the connection, the city and branch are typed as text, as for other carriers.
Cash on delivery isn't available for a Meest parcel locker — Meest doesn't accept such parcels, and the cart says so.
The waybill
The same “Create waybill” button and the same form as for Nova Poshta: recipient, branch, packaging, weight, declared value, cash on delivery.
If both carriers are connected, the form has a “Carrier” switch. The one the buyer chose is selected first, but you can ship with the other — then enter that carrier's branch, and the order's carrier changes.
What it can do
- branch-to-branch shipping;
- cash on delivery;
- parcel statuses — just like Nova Poshta (every hour from the Plus plan);
- printing — waybill, A4 labels and 100×100.
Not yet: door-to-door courier, registries and shipping prices on the storefront.
Cancelling a waybill
“Delete waybill” on the order page. A Meest waybill can be cancelled until the parcel is dropped off at a branch. If Meest refuses, the dashboard shows the reason and offers to unlink the waybill only in Poleso — just like Nova Poshta.
Disconnecting
“Disconnect” on the Meest card. New Meest waybills won't be created, and buyers won't be able to pick a Meest branch in the cart. Existing waybills stay on their orders.
