How it comes up
- The buyer chose “Shipping paid by: Sender” at checkout — and sees “We will send you a separate invoice for delivery”.
- You chose “Delivery paid by: Store” while placing the order in a conversation, or changed the payer in order editing.
With cash on delivery, the recipient always pays for delivery — there's no “store” option: a separate upfront invoice for delivery of an unpaid order makes no sense.
The “Delivery: unpaid” badge
On the card and page of such an order, next to the product payment, a second badge appears — “Delivery: unpaid” (or “Delivery 85 ₴: unpaid” once the amount is known). Tap it — the “Delivery payment” window opens:
- Delivery amount — enter your own. An empty field uses the amount the carrier calculated in the waybill (“As in the waybill: 85 ₴”).
- Copy delivery payment link — a Monobank invoice for the delivery amount, separate from the invoice for the products.
- Send the invoice to the buyer in chat — the same link with the amount, straight into the conversation.
- Paid / Unpaid — mark it by hand if the buyer paid another way.
If you changed the amount and immediately tapped “Copy” or “Send”, the dashboard saves the amount first and then creates the invoice.
When the buyer has paid
Paid through the link — delivery is marked paid automatically, and the badge becomes “Delivery: paid”. Paid by transfer or cash — mark “Paid” in the window.
Worth knowing
- You can create the waybill before delivery is paid — you settle with the carrier in their account anyway.
- The payment link needs connected Monobank. Without it, send the amount and details yourself and mark the payment by hand.
- Sending the invoice to the chat only works if the buyer has a conversation with the store and the 24-hour window hasn't passed. Otherwise the dashboard offers to copy the link and send it another way.
- The delivery invoice lives for 96 hours, like the invoice for products.
- Delivery payment isn't counted as revenue in analytics — it's a reimbursement, not a sale.
- If the recipient pays, there's no badge at all: there's no separate payment.
