The dashboard as an app
There is no separate app in the App Store or Google Play — the dashboard goes on your home screen straight from the browser. After that it opens from the Poleso icon, in its own window without an address bar.
Android (Chrome). Open the dashboard — a “Poleso on your home screen” bar with an “Install” button appears at the bottom. Tap it and confirm.
iPhone (Safari).
- Open the dashboard in Safari.
- Tap Share — the square with an arrow pointing up.
- Choose “Add to Home Screen”.
- Open Poleso from the icon and sign in again — the app on iPhone doesn't see a sign-in made in Safari.
You can hide the hint bar with the cross — it won't appear in this browser again.
Notifications
Notifications arrive on the device even when the dashboard is closed. They are turned on separately on each phone and computer.
- Open Settings → Notifications.
- Tap “Turn on” and allow notifications when the browser asks.
- Check with “Send a test” — the notification should arrive within a few seconds.
On a computer and in the installed app, the dashboard offers to turn notifications on with a bar at the top — just tap “Turn on”.
iPhone: notifications only work in Poleso installed on the Home Screen — Apple requires this. In Safari the “Turn on” button won't appear.
What to notify about
The same section has a “What to notify about” block. Each topic can be turned off separately:
- Customer messages — Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Telegram;
- New orders;
- Paid orders;
- Instagram comments — several comments on one post are combined into one notification, which opens that post's thread;
- Parcels — a parcel is being returned or paid storage has started (from the Plus plan; needs a Nova Poshta key);
- Payment reminders — when a buyer was reminded to pay for an order, or wasn't because the item is out of stock (from the Plus plan).
The choice applies to all your devices and only to you: everyone on the team sets their own.
Tapping a notification opens exactly what it's about: the conversation, the order or the comment thread.
Also send new orders to Telegram
If your store's Telegram bot is connected, new orders also go there by default. The “Also send new orders to Telegram” switch in Notifications turns off only that copy — the bot and buyers' Telegram messages keep working. Only the owner can change it.
The number on the icon
The app icon shows how much is waiting for you: unread conversations, new orders nobody has touched yet and new comments — the same numbers as in the dashboard menu. On iPhone and computers it's a number, on Android a dot.
A new version of the dashboard
When we release an update, a “A new version of the dashboard is out” bar with a “Refresh” button appears at the top. Tap it when convenient: save anything unsaved in the fields first.
If notifications don't arrive
- “Notifications are blocked in the browser.” You once tapped “Block”. Allow notifications for the site in the browser settings and come back to Settings → Notifications.
- “Add Poleso to your Home Screen first.” This is an iPhone — see above.
- Android: turned on but nothing arrives. Open the phone settings → Apps → Poleso and turn off “Pause app activity if unused”. While it's on, Android stops the app's notifications, and neither the dashboard nor the test notification can show it.
- The test arrived but message notifications don't. Check “What to notify about”: the topic may be turned off.
- A new phone. Notifications are turned on per device — turn them on there too.
