Connecting
You need a contract with Ukrposhta. In its appendix your manager gives you three API access values: PRODUCTION BEARER eCom, PRODUCTION BEARER StatusTracking and COUNTERPARTY TOKEN (the user token).
- Settings → Integrations → Ukrposhta.
- Paste both bearers and the user token.
- Choose the sender type — sole proprietor or individual. It decides where Ukrposhta pays cash on delivery: a sole proprietor gets it only by bank transfer, an individual in cash.
- Enter the sender's full name (last, first and middle name), phone, and for a sole proprietor also the tax ID and IBAN.
- Enter the postcode of the post office where you drop off parcels. The dashboard finds the post office by its postcode.
- Tick the shipment types to offer buyers: Standard (cheaper, slower) and Express (faster, pricier). Both by default.
- “Check and save”.
The dashboard first checks the access, then registers you as a sender with Ukrposhta. If Ukrposhta rejects your details, such as the tax ID or IBAN, the dashboard shows its answer and nothing is saved.
The card will show “Ukrposhta connected” and the dispatch post office.
Ukrposhta in the cart
Turn on Ukrposhta among the store's delivery services: Settings → Store and delivery → Delivery.
When Ukrposhta is connected, the buyer finds the post office the same way as in Ukrposhta's own account:
- “I know the postcode” — they enter five digits, and the city and post office address fill in by themselves;
- “Search by city” — they pick a city, then a post office from the list, and the postcode is taken from it.
If the store offers both shipment types, the buyer picks Standard or Express after the post office. If only one, it's used and the buyer sees no choice. If you pay for delivery, keep only the type you're willing to pay for.
Without the connection, the buyer types the postcode, city and post office as text.
Cash on delivery isn't available for a pickup point — Ukrposhta doesn't accept such parcels there, and the cart says so.
Waybill
The same “Create waybill” button and the same form as for Nova Poshta: recipient, post office, packaging, weight, declared value, cash on delivery.
Shipment type — the form starts with the buyer's choice; you can change it for any parcel, even to a type not offered in the cart. Ukrposhta accepts a parcel with a long side from 71 cm and a large face only as Standard.
Cash on delivery needs the recipient's middle name — Ukrposhta requires it. The cart already asks for it when the buyer chooses cash on delivery.
If several carriers are connected, the form has a “Carrier” switch. The buyer's choice is selected first, but you can ship with another one.
What it can do
- post office to post office;
- cash on delivery;
- parcel statuses — same as for Nova Poshta (hourly from the Plus plan). A parcel appears in Ukrposhta's statuses once the post office has accepted it;
- label printing — 100×100 or on an A4 sheet.
Not yet: courier pickup and door delivery, shipment groups (form 103a) and the delivery price on the storefront.
Cancel a waybill
“Delete waybill” on the order page. Ukrposhta lets you delete a waybill only until the post office has accepted the parcel. If Ukrposhta refuses, the dashboard shows the reason and offers to detach the waybill in Poleso only — same as for Nova Poshta.
Disconnect
“Disconnect” in the Ukrposhta card. New Ukrposhta waybills won't be created, and buyers won't be able to pick a Ukrposhta post office from the list in the cart. Existing waybills stay in the orders.
