Marks next to the buyer's name
In a conversation, the customer card and the order page, the name may carry a mark:
- “Left 1 parcel of 3 unclaimed” — at least one parcel from your store in the last 12 months came back unclaimed;
- “New buyer” — they haven't picked up any parcel from your store yet.
We recognise the person by phone or messenger and only within your store — other stores' history never gets here. Only you and your team see the mark, never the buyer. It's on every plan.
The “Who pays upfront” rule (Pro)
Settings → Payments → “Who pays upfront”. Two switches:
- Prepayment for buyers who left a parcel unclaimed — at least one unclaimed parcel in your store in the last 12 months. Applies to any amount.
- Prepayment for new buyers — not a single parcel picked up in your store yet. Applies for orders from the amount you set (1,500 ₴ by default).
What the buyer sees
Such a buyer doesn't see cash on delivery at checkout — only card payment and prepayment — plus one sentence: “For this order the store accepts prepayment only.” No reason is given: nobody calls the buyer risky.
The prepayment amount is your “Partial prepayment” from the store settings. We recommend setting it to the cost of shipping there and back: then even if the parcel isn't picked up, you lose nothing. If partial prepayment is off, such a buyer only has full payment.
Conditions
- Online payment must be connected (Monobank): without it the buyer has no way to pay upfront, and the rule doesn't apply.
- Orders you place yourself in a conversation aren't affected — you choose the payment method there (see Order in a conversation).
Where the history comes from
The dashboard counts how parcels from your store ended: picked up or returned unclaimed. So history builds up over time, and parcel statuses need to be updated — from the Plus plan this happens automatically every hour (see Nova Poshta).
