The Comments section works with connected Instagram. Comments left after connecting arrive in the dashboard; older ones are not carried over.
The list of posts
On the left — posts that have comments. At the top there are two filters:
- “Unanswered” — posts where someone is waiting for you (the number shows how many such comments);
- “All posts”.
Open a post — its thread appears on the right. The header shows how many comments there are and how many are unanswered, plus “Open in Instagram”.
A post's thread
Three tabs:
- Waiting — comments with no reply at all: neither public nor in Direct;
- All — all visible comments;
- Hidden — the ones you've hidden.
Comments are grouped by day. Replies — yours and other people's — sit under the comment they answer.
What you can do with a comment
The actions are in a row under each comment:
Reply — a public reply under the comment. Above the field you can see whom you're replying to: “Reply to @handle · public”. Next to it are quick replies for comments as chips: “Thank you! ❤️”, “We've messaged you in Direct”, “Price in Direct”.
To Direct — a private reply to the comment's author. It arrives in their Direct, and the conversation then continues in Messages once the buyer replies.
Instagram's limit: you can send only one Direct reply per comment and only within 7 days of the comment. After that, the button is replaced with “Direct closed”. If you've already written, you'll see “In Direct · time”.
Hide — the comment disappears from under the post on Instagram for everyone except its author and you, and moves to the Hidden tab. You can unhide it there.
Comments deleted on Instagram (by the author or by you in the app) disappear from the dashboard too — the next time you open the section.
Products in this post and “Send cart”
Above the Direct reply field there's a “Products in this post” block: what's sold in this post, with stock and price.
- Products imported from Instagram from this post are linked to it automatically.
- Others — with “Link a product” (search by name). To unlink — “Unlink from post”.
Sending a cart: pick products (for a product with sizes — the right variant) and click “Send cart”. The buyer gets a cart link in Direct, and the text from the field goes in the same message. The cart goes to Direct, not under the post.
Since this is that same single Direct reply, the same Instagram rules apply: one per comment and 7 days. How the cart works from there — see Cart link.
The post header shows how many carts were sent from its comments.
Auto-replies
On the Pro plan a bot can reply under your posts by itself — to “price?”, “+”, “want”. Its replies in the thread are marked “⚡ auto-reply”. How to set it up — see Auto-replies.
Notifications
New comments arrive as notifications on your phone; several comments under one post are combined into one, which opens that post's thread. The number of new comments also shows next to “Comments” in the dashboard menu.
