Order in the catalog
The order is set under Settings → Store and delivery → “Product order in the catalog” and applies both in the dashboard and on the storefront:
- Newest — from the most recent posts to the oldest;
- Most popular — by buyers' views over the last 90 days. Until there are views, products are sorted newest first;
- Manual — however you arrange them.
Arranging by hand: Products → “Reorder”. Drag a product by the ⋮⋮ handle or lift it with the “To top” arrow and click “Save order”. If a different order is selected in settings, saving switches to manual automatically. In manual order, new products go to the top.
A buyer on the storefront can switch the sorting for themselves — your order doesn't change.
A single product can be pinned to the start of the catalog — “Pin the product in the storefront” on the product card.
Archive
The archive is for products that are no longer sold but whose history is worth keeping.
To archive: in the product's menu in the list (on a phone — press and hold the row) → “Archive”, with the “Archive” button on the product card, or several at once — select products in the list and click “Archive”.
What happens to an archived product:
- it's not on the storefront and can't be bought — not even by a direct link;
- in buyers' carts it shows as “No longer sold”, and the buyer is asked to remove the line;
- orders with it stay as they are and are handled as usual;
- it doesn't count towards the plan's product limit — archiving frees up room on FREE.
Archived products are in the “Archive” tab on the Products page. You can restore them any time: “Restore from archive” in the menu or on the product card. If the plan is already full, restoring won't work — the dashboard says how much room is left.
Deletion
Deletion removes a product from the dashboard for good. The rules:
- A product in an unfinished order can't be deleted — only archived. Deletion becomes possible once those orders are finished.
- A product that was in completed orders — the dashboard warns you. If you delete it, the orders stay and show “Deleted product” with its name. Archiving is often better: the product leaves the storefront, but you can bring it back.
- A product with no orders is deleted right after you confirm.
Several at once: select products in the list and click “Delete selected”. Products in unfinished orders are skipped — the dashboard says how many and offers to archive them.
If anyone was waiting for a deleted product or size, the bot tells them it won't be back (see “Notify me when it's back”).
Pausing sales temporarily
If a product will be back soon, you don't need the archive: in the product's menu, “Mark as out of stock”. The product stays on the storefront but can't be bought, and its stock doesn't change. To undo — “Mark as in stock”.
